Walker Singleton property consultants have been established since 1889 and we currently manage several thousand residential buy to let investments nationwide many through our national letting service. Our clients include private investors, as well as property investment companies and mortgage lenders. These include Yorkshire Bank, Mortgage Express, Northern Rock, Abbey, Nat West, Royal Bank of Scotland, Clydesdale, Saffron, The Habib Bank, Leeds & Holbeck, The Britannia and Skipton Building Societies and Tesco.

As you can see from the above map we deal with properties throughout the UK locations of which have been highlighted in red with our office location clearly marked in green.

Being centrally located enables us to effectively manage properties throughout the North East and nationwide through our national letting service. The benefits to clients who opt to use our national letting service are extensive. Having to deal with a large number of agents can be frustrating and very time consuming therefore this specialised service allows landlords to instruct Walker Singleton Property Management to deal with all their properties irrelevant of location. Due to the extensive number of properties currently under management nationwide we are able to source reputable ARLA agents in all locations and to negotiate preferential rates to deal with the initial letting which we overseen in its entirety saving landlord valuable time and effort. Once occupied the day to day property management reverts back to Walker Singleton for the period of the tenancy.

Having established a nationwide database of preferred contractors we are able to respond quickly and effectively to any issues reported by tenants helping to minimise costs to landlords and keeping tenants happy resulting in longer tenancy terms and reducing costly void periods.

We are members of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA), the national body which regulates the activities of letting agents. We are also full members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and we were one of the first firms of surveyors to achieve ISO9001 Quality Accreditation back in 1994. We are also members of The Tenancy Dispute Scheme for Regulated Agents (TDS) which has been developed to ensure that the deposits we hold are protected and that disputes about their return are resolved swiftly, inexpensively and impartially. We are also registered with Construction Line as approved contractors for the provision of property services to the public sector. We are also Court approved expert witnesses in relation to property disputes. In addition we have staff who are individual members of the Association of Professional Inventory Providers (APIP).
